There was a trip available for a few student from our course to go visit the university of Huddersfield. During this time a talk from Lorraine to the students was helpful as it made them understand what they need to produce and gain to be eligible to apply and get a place at this university. If these five students by november recieve the right amount or more of the UCAS points then they will automatically have an unconditional place at the university. In order for the rest of us students to get a place i have to have Huddersfield university as one of my options from the five I have. I also have to make sure I pass my current course with merits as well as passes to reach the right amount of UCAS points which is 280. After looking at what is on offer i recon i will actually put Huddersfield university down as one of my top three choices.

Improvement of Spaceship
Here I have developed the wings to form around the top of my spaceship I have done this because I have plans to include something into the middle of the wings based ontop of the spaceship. I thought it would be a lot harder than it actually was to do this with the wings, instead it was pretty easy because i mirrored the image over after only having half of the spaceship to start with. This alloud me to work on just one side and see the other side look the exact same.

SpaceShip Update
I have started an alternative model using simple shape and extruding a wing, I then curved it round, I shall continue to add more complex additions to this model.
SpaceShip
For our finished product this was my origional
idea. After starting this i learnt that this was
abit too complicated for my first model which
is the reason why I have decided that I am
going to stick to doing something that will be a
bit more simpler.

Airplane
Here is an airplane I created on 3D Studio Max. I started of with just a simple cylinder and extude and edited the vertexes to form the first wing. I then cut the cylinder in half and mirrored the image to make sure that the two sides are both the same, I then welded all of the edges together.

Texture
This is a screenshot of a piece of work that has different textures included inside it. This was quite easy to produce, to insert a texture all you need to do is press the letter M on your keyboard in Studio Max and a box will pop up. You then select the different types of textures you use, a few default textures are available to choose from. I created this using the wood texture for the shed and then the cellula for the ground texture.

Robot
This image is a robot i produced on 3D Studio Max, I created this by using a method called box - modeling. I started with a box and added the different shapes on the image to form the different body parts. I then used the extrude tool to extend some of the limbs. The thing i found hard about creating this robot. I created the arms by producing a cylinder shape and bending them round, i did this by clicking on the modify list and scrolled down to bend which created the bendy look.
